Past Chair Dutro called the meeting to order. Dutro welcomed everyone and performed a ceremonial gavel passing as well as an introduction to new Chair Swanson.

CONSENT AGENDA
· Approve consent agenda-motion to approve the entire consent agenda as presented on 2-19-14 by McManis, Second by Gale. Passed.
PERSONNEL MATTER
· Chair Swanson called for a confidential meeting with only voting members present, nonvoting members were excused and asked to stand by
· Relevant matters were discussed and Chair Swanson will forward the collected information to the appropriate parties
BUSINESS
DDBUDDY app
- Alex Crosby briefly presented a smart phone app designed to help find a designated driver
- Launching on March 10th
*Note the GCDUITF is not endorsing the DDBUDDY app at the direction of the Executive Committee
Mocktail Contest
- Hume is coordinating a Mocktail (mock cocktail) contest in downtown Bozeman as a Public Information and Education event on March 15th from 3 to 5 pm
- The deadline for participation is March 7th
- Three judges are lined up: JP Pomnichowski, Tate Chamberlin, Serena Rundberg, possible others to follow
- Vice-Chair Barcus and Chair Swanson will solicit bars for interest
Educational Power Point
- Chair Swanson suggests an educational power point be created for community awareness and recruiting new quality membership
- Chair Swanson will give a representative presentation at 12:00pm on 03/03/2014 at Alcohol and Drug Services of Gallatin County. All are encouraged to attend
Membership
- New membership to the GCDUITF is suspended at the present time
- Membership will open once parameters for new members and general business issues are resolved
Caplette Administrative Business
- Per the Governance Calendar, the February meeting is for strategic planning meeting. In May the plan and budget for Fiscal 2015 needs to be approved
- Working on a survey to membership about meeting times, snacks, and overall quality of meeting atmosphere
Chair Swanson adjourned the meeting at approximately 8:00pm.
